ID-FF 1.2 Java Toolkit Overview
The ID-FF 1.2 Java Toolkit is an open source Java toolkit for enabling Liberty ID-FF v 1.2 protocol Single Sign-On and federated identity exchange. The toolkit focuses on ease-of-deployment, providing high-level functionality which shields the integrator from the complexities of the Liberty protocol, XML, SAML, and other dependencies.
This release leverages a workflow-based architecture that provides a great deal of flexibility and extensibility.
As of the 2.0 beta release, the ID-FF 1.2 Java Toolkit has been certified for conformance with the IDP and SP Basic profiles against Liberty ID-FF 1.2.
Objectives
To support the profiles specified by Liberty ID-FF 1.2, including:
- Single Sign-on (Artifact and POST profiles)
- Single Logout
- Register Name Identifier
- Federation Termination Notification
- Identity Provider Introduction
