ID-FF 1.1 Java Toolkit Overview
The ID-FF 1.1 Java Toolkit is an open source Java toolkit for enabling Liberty ID-FF v 1.1 protocol Single Sign-On and federated identity exchange. The toolkit focuses on ease-of-deployment, providing high-level functionality which shields the integrator from the complexities of the Liberty protocol, XML, SAML, and other dependencies.
As of the 1.1 release, SourceID Liberty has been certified for conformance with the IDP and SP Basic profiles against Liberty ID-FF 1.1.
Objectives
The ID-FF 1.1 Java Toolkit meets the following objectives:
- High-level abstraction of Single Sign-on problems and events using Interfaces and Servlet Redirection
- Liberty Alliance ID-FF Protocol v1.1 Compatibility
- J2EE compliance and expandability
